User home directories on two domains

Comment:
I have a user that belongs to two domains. He has userhome directories on both domains. Unfortunately, when he's logged into the one domain, he cannot access the user home on the other domain.
Both domains are separate (which causes me grief.)
Map a drive letter to the other domains home directory path

We've attempted to do that; it has to do with a trust relationship between the two domains. I've looked on support.microsoft.com, but haven't been fortunate enough to find a solution.
When we try to map a drive to the path \\servername\userhomes\, it's giving us an access denied prompt.

For access without a trust relationship, the username and password have to be the same on both domains. Otherwise, you'll have to set up a trust between the two domains.
If you had two domains, (say for the sake of arguement they are called New York and Miami) if you wanted to allow the user to use his New York area in Miami, and His Miami area in New York, the trust will need to be 2 X trusts. (Note that NT does not have a 'two way trust' ability, you need to set a trust from New York to Miami, and another trust from Miami to New York.).
