Anyone know of any third party support for running a USB port under NT4 so I can use my scanner? Thanks. By the way, Quickdrive's PCMCIA hard drive box (add your own drive) is plug and play compatable with NT4, cheap storage solution for laptops!

There may be something like you want, but I wouldn't count on it for stability or a good price

Need A USB Driver For A Scanner Under Windows NT 4.0 Workstation Service Pack 6a ASAP
Currently there is no support for USB devices [See Microsoft Knowledge Base Article ID number Q196661 . I'm afraid its only Win2000, 95 & 98. Looks like there are no future plans to incorporate USB support into NT4.0 Server or Workstation.

Well its not enough that NT will not support USB, now the HP Scanjet 4200Cxi I just bought that was advertized as Windows2000 ready on there Web Page is not ready.
Lets see I upgraded to Windows 2000 to get USB support and purchased the scanner because they advetized win2000 support and I still have no scanner.
