I have a laptop running WinNT Workstation version 4.0 with all latest updates & service pack 6a. It has 1 USB port (1.1) and I would like to get minimal USB functionality out of it for Flash drives, mice, keyboards, ect. Is there any way to accomplish this? If so, how?
Thanks for your help!

At the top of this Forum is a "GO SEARCH" which believe it or not by typing in USB and NT4 for the specific forum lists several responses in regards to USB NT4, it never ceases to amaze me how helpful the tools on this forum are, almost as good as a GOOOGLE!

RogerAshleys tip works, use it and you will get a link to Dell who produced a file to give USB availability on NT4, works on other machines as well: try this: http://ftp1.us.dell.com/utility/R62200.EXE Regards.

I have installed the Dell USB drivers for NT. It shows that the USB's are active, however when we go to print labels on the Brother Label printer, there is no option to print to that printer. Any ideas?
Summary: I'm aware of the fact NT by itself does not support USB and MS itself is not going to change that forcing everyone to upgrade to W2K. Is there any freeware/shareware to support USB devices in NT? ...
Summary: Has anyone had any success in using USB devices or modems in NT 4.0? According to microsoft, they don't support the USB in 4.0 and I can't seem to find any good reference to it....
Summary: Did anyone tell you the USB is not supported in NT....The good news is, it is in Windows 2000. Sorry I know it sux, but you need to check the stuff is NT compliant before you buy...
