I have Windows NT and 95 installed on a 1GB Pentium 133 Pc. I wish to uninstall NT4. How is this done.
Please please help

Easy boot into 95, delete the winnt directory
and then make a boot diskette copy fdisk to it and also sys.com.....then boot off thattype fdisk \mbr
the type sys c:
if need be check you autoexec.bat and config are correct and not renamed.....and you can then go back to the land of GPFs....

You can't just uninstall WinNt so follow these steps:
1.From a Windows95 or MS-DOS make a system disk that contains also the Sys.com file. Reboot your PC from this bootable disk.
2.From drive A, type sys c:
This transfers the Windows95 or MS-DOS system files to the boot track on drive C.3.After the system files are successfully transferred, from the hard disk, restart the system.
4.To free space on your Hard Disk, delete:
.All paging files(C:\Pagefile.sys, and any others
.C:\Boot.ini
.C:\NT*.*
.C:\Bootsect.doc
.winnt root folder and all its content
.Program files\Windows NTYou're done...Easy no!!!

I only have WinNt4 server on this PC and wondering how to uninstall and install Win 2000 Pro version. Could you please tell me detail how to uninstall WinNT?
