There have been many messages here regarding installing NT as a dual boot on a Windows 98 machine. I successfully did this over a year ago and never use NT.
How can I uninstall NT 4.0 from my Windows 98 machine?
My HD is 6GB partitioned into three logical drives with FAT-16.
Windows 98 is botable from the C: drive and NT from the D: drive.

Email me and let me know how you got that to dual boot if you don't mind. I would like to do that with 95B and NT 4.0.

If everything is formatted fat-16 then fdisk should be able to see the partitions. If that checks out then just format the drive you have nt on. after that you have to deal with the master boot record. insert a win98 disk and from a: type sys C: that should over right things and you'll be able to boot normally.

Hi, If you don't care what happen with your WIN NT, you can boot from a floppy disk with a Dos Boot and a fdisk file (WIN 95) at the dos command type fdisk you'll see some info, go to 5 to change to drive D, when your on drive D, check what kind of partition you have (FAT or NTFS) choose 3 to erase a NON DOS partition and then 4,confirm and ceate a DOS partition with 1 and you have a new d: patition, format with any windows system for FAT32. After this change the BOOT.INI attrib. to edit it and delete the WIN NT Part or select to boot from win 98.
