Hi,
I am having a windows NT 4.0 server. I am unable to run any exe on this machine. The same executables work on other machines. I have checked for virus using Norton anti virus and did not find any virus also. Can anybody help.

Sounds like you have a profile not allowing you to run the .exe. Check your rights and be sure you are logging in as an Administrator. Load MS Resource Kit for Windows NT Server and go to the Policy Editor and see if a policy is holding you up.

The key relating to files of extension .exe may also be deleted or corrupted under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT, however I somewhat doubt that cause you'd be in for a whole world of errors then. Not that I've ever deleted this just to see what would happen. ;)
