we can logon to our NT domain with ipx/spx, but when clients try to logon with just ip it gives them the message "the domain password you supplied is not correct or access to your logon server has been denied." we can ping the server by its ip address and by its netbios name ( so it appears that wins is working fine ) but just can't sign-on with ip. any help would be greatly appreciated.

just win9x clients running tcp/ip only. the only weird thing on the nt server is that when you run nbtstat -n, one of the server names says that it is in conflict with something. not sure if this would not allow the clients to logon with tcp/ip. but everybody can logon with ipx. go figure.
