Unable to browse Network Neighborhood

Comment:
I have a couple of PCs where my users are able to view network neighborhood and the shared files and a few minutes later the network neighborhood is not accessible. All of my settings in control panel, network are correct for the workgroup and domain. I am not sure what the problem is.

Hi,
check if your Master Browser (Mostly the PDC) is running. Goto Control Panel/Services and look for Browser Service. You also should look into event Log if there is an entry like "MasterBrowser election..." or something like that. And on your other machines there is may be an error like "rdr-error....".
If so then goto Control Panel/Services on your Machines and deactivate the Browser Service. It is enough when there is aa MasterBrowser and a Backup-Browser (Mostly PDC and BDC), all other Machines do not have to be Browsers.
