Unable to access Netlogon

Hello,
Does anyone have any idea why all of the sudden users cannot access the netlogon directory? First it happened with my PDC and after a few weeks it happened on my BDC too. The rights are exactly the same as before. If I open Windows Explorer logged on as a user and click on the netlogon share of the PDC or BDC I get an access denied error as if I don't have any rights for the directory. But the rights are fine. Does it have anything to do with a maximum number of logons?
The servers are Windows NT 4.0 SP5. I've reapplied the SPs.

Nick, check to make sure that the right "Access this computer from the network" has not been disabled under the user manager for domains. It is under one of the drop down menu Policies-User Rights. This error is confusing because the system will still log the user on, they will simply not be able to access any shared directories regardless of their permissions.

Thanks for your input Todd. The "Access this computer from the network" has all the groups included. Users can access shared directories on the server. The only directory they can't access is netlogon. This is something that happens with time but I can't figure out why.
