Comment:

I'm having trouble on nt when setting up a mail account with exchange server.
During mail and properties I can talk ok to the server, but if i attempt to go into exchange or outlook it hangs and eventually comes back with unable to locate exchage server. If I attempt to connect offline it says unable to load default email folders and shuts the application.

Any help would be appreiciated

Does the Exchange server and the client in question belong to the same NT domain?

Have you tried forcing the user to login when Outlook starts? What happens if you do this?

Put an entry in the client hosts file pointing to the IP address of one or all exchange servers and this should clear up your problem.
