I need some help.
I have a small network of 15 computers.
I have a NT 4.0 Server SP 6 with two of the same model isa 3com network cards
installed in it.One is using thin net.
The other is using cat 5.I have configured both cards with different IP's on the same subnet and the
server under network neighborhood only sees the cat 5's. Likewise only the cat
5's see the server.I then configured the cards with different subnet masks. The server now sees
both the cat5's and the thinnets. The cat 5 workstations see the server and only the other cat 5 workstations.
The thinnet workstations see the server and only the other thinnet workstations.I have printers attached to the workstations that I want to be able to share with
both the cat5's and the thin nets. How can I get the thinnet workstations to see
the cat 5 workstations and vice versa.Thank you

Okay what you actually have be doing (and that is very smart) is solving your problem for 50%
With the action of changing the subnet you crated two networks.
Now your NT Server is sort of a Router but not yet installed as one.
What you have to do is switch the router function on for the NT Server
heck this sites out for HOW TO:http://www.clinch.ch/Net-Work/internet/NTRouteBasics.htm
