I have several machines running NT4 and I now want to network them together. I have a 3Com 10/100 16 port Hub. I have 3Com Ethernet cards. Having never set up a network before, I am anxious to get a good tutorial on how to setup the adaptors to the NT4 machines. I am genuinely trying to learn this networking caper so any pointers in the right direction would be much appreciated.

Make sure you have the right drivers for your 3com NIC. What you have to do is once you have the card in your which ever slot in your machine and you are on the desktop. Just right click on the Network Neigborhood and go to properties. Click on the tab where it says adapter. Ckick on add and a list comes up. Now place your driver disk or cd in the machine and click on have disk. There you will just type the path to where your drivers are located at. This will install your NIC cards. Now on your network you are setting up with NT. Do you have a PDC setup? I hope this helps you out....Keep posting if you need more help....
