Does anybody know how to turn on numlock automatically at windows nt start before login window, somebody told me that i must change something in the registry but i don't know where exactly. Thank you all in advance

I'm not sure it can be done bfore the login window. but if you want, here is the reg hack to turn it on after the login window - The Keyboard entry contains user preferences as defined by choosing the Keyboard icon in Control Panel. Entries are found under this Registry path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Keyboard InitialKeyboardIndicators: REG_SZ: NUMBER Default: 0 This specifies initial values for keys. 0 means that NUMLOCK is turned off after the user logs on; 2 means NUMLOCK is turned on after user logs on. This value is set during log off or shutdown to preserve the state of the NUMLOCK key at that time.

Yeah, you can turn on/turn off the numlock -unfortunately, through a registry hack. You can also use another reg hack to turn the numlock on before or after the logon screen. But beware, if you are using a laptop the you may find your numlock (on at the logon screen) causes problems with you password. This hack is available from MS site. However, if you are having problems locating it I'll mail you the details.
