I have window 2000 seerver on pentuim III PC and i want shut down the coputor from friday back up at 7pm and want schdeule and turn off the coputor and what software is availble to do that

I assume that you have a UPS on the server. Most of them come with a scheduler that you can use. I believe that the resource kit for NT has a program that lets you schedule remote shutdowns also. I also have a little batch file that will let you do remote shutdowns. Here's the link http://www.winsite.com/info/pc/winnt/sysutil/nt-shutdown.exe/ I don't know about any of this working for 2000 though.
