Hi:

For some reason I can't get on the Internet with Juno using Windows
NT....the modem I have can actually get e-mail....I've messed around with
the COM ports so that the mouse was disabled incase it was conflicting
with the modem...still I'm not able to connect to the Internet yet at the
same time am able to send e-mail...(this is true for 2 internal modems
that I've tried out).

Every time I try to connect the the World Wide Web or Internet a message
comes up saying:

"Certain features in this verson of Juno requires you to have a current
World Wide Web browser installed on your computer. If you wish to use
these features (such as connecting to the Web sites of Juno Advertisers
and Juno Web access) you will need to install verson 3.0 or higher of
Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator. If you would like to use
another browser with Juno Web you will need to open that browser manually
after Juno has finished connecting to the World Wide Web."

I know I have Internet Explorer 5.0 on the computer that I've even tried
manually opening...yet the computer doesn't even try to dial for Juno
World Wide Web access, anyway....so then I click "OK" and it says:

"Microsoft World Wide Web doesn't have any modems listed for this
computer. Click Help for advice on making Windows recognize your modem
or OK if you don't have a modem connected to this computer."

So, I click on Help and then I click to view what's going on with the
system and click on a few other things to view a log of connection and
this is what it says..(bear with me):

20000804 19:35:12: . [132]: started

=END OF LOG=====================================

Another thing is that in Windows 98 since I have a dual-boot computer it
gives me
the same messages.

What should I do?

Sincerely, wondering,

Check juno tech support, there have been many problems with AOL and NT. Maybe there are some unresolve incompatability issues.

Thats a JUNO problem. If you're down load your mail, you've got a connection. There must be a problem with THEIR gateway.
