Trident 9850 setup problem in NT4.0

I had the driver provided by trident and try to setup (in WIN NT4.0 service pack 1) by following instruction in the readme file. However, although there is no error message during setup. WINNT alway use the default standard VGA instead of the new driver even though after restart. I just seems WINNT cannot recognized that driver.

Nt is best with at least SP3. SP5 has proven reliable performance. Go here to download. Must have high speed connection or lots of time. http://www.microsoft.com/ntserver/nts/downloads/recommended/sp5/allsp5.asp This will fix your first problem. Check for newer device drivers from Tident
