I have recently bought a new PC and wish to transfer some of the information from my old machine to the new one. Can someone tell me what is the best way to do this please. My old machine has SCSI disks and my new one has an IDE.

Depending on time/budget you can: 1) Get to network cards & cross-cable, set up filesharing on the old pc and access it from the new one 2) Get a parallel-to-parallel cable and set up a direct cable connection 3) Get a serial cable and use hyperterminal to transfer files (cheap&easy but slooooooow) 4) Temporarily plug the scsi adapter+drive into your new PC (provided the scsi adapter isn't built onto the motherboard). Hope this gives you some ideas.
