I am running windows NT 4.0 I get this error message in my event viewer DHCP failed to obtain a lease for the card with network address . The following error occurred :
The semaphore timeout period has expired.
if any one know how to fix this problem please e-mail me at this address mpats2000@hotmail.com.

Update to the latest service pack to solve this problem

Updating to the latest service pack DOES NOT fix this problem. Running 6a here and it still occurs...

I'm also having this problem. I've reapplied SP 6A and updated NIC drivers. Any other ideas?
