I am having a problem using telnet in Windows NT. It works fine for me with 95 or 98 but I can't connect with NT. I was wondering if any additional configuration is required to use it with NT. For the others I just log on to the internet, go to start,RUN, and type telnet and IP address. If anyone can help I would sure appreciate it.

when using telnet, u have to enter a portnumber for instance, connecting to the POP3-server of my account, I goto RUN and enter the following: telnet:pop.wxs.nl:110 which: telnet ->application pop.wxs.nl -> address 110 -> portnumber if you want sites to telnet you have to use port: 80 or 21 for ftp sites ;-)
