hi guys,

recently i changed network adapter from my machine on office's LAN

while installing, i had to reconfigure the TCPIP, however, when the setup was finishing, it generated an error message that TCPIP registry entry already exists. Hence i could not install the TCPIP and since then i have been using the machine using NETBEUI only

could anybody tell me how to correcly install TCPIP on the machine

I would suggest you rerun your service pack 6a and see if that does not fix the problem.
