I'm using the taskkill command to end processes in WINXP, but they don't work on WINNT and WIN2K machines. Whats the taskkill equivalent command for WINNT and WIN2k?

Not sure but i think it is called KILL in the RK for NT4. Three freebies :

http://www.microsoft.com/ntserver/nts/downloads/recommended/ntkit/default.asp

ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/ResKit/NT/

ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/bussys/winnt/winnt-public/reskit/nt40/

I don't know about 2K, maybe this one work in 2K also. The full NT4 RK is not free but i saw it on ebay yesteday for $1.

Thanks,
You're right Kill in the RK for NT works, but I ended up going with PStool's PSKill as it works across all Win OS's and can be used to kill processes on remote systems.
Cheers
