Moin,
Start, run, rdisk /s creates an update of %systemroot%\repair and an ERD-floppy, the floppy will not contain all hives, if space is not sufficient. Note: login password might go lost when running a repair! Make sure to have a tool for NT password-recovery and the three NT start-/installation-floppies!), rdisk /s- only updates the repair directory, but doesn't write a floppy. And regback from WinNT resource kit. Run it from a commandline, regback /? shows a helpscreen.
mfG, Carl.
