Comment:

I'm using Win NT 4 (SP4) on an AMD Athlon 600 system (freetech motherboard) and 128MB RAM.
when i minimize an application the system pauses for a few seconds (the task manager shows 100% CPU usage).
is there something i can do to avoid this?

the system pauses for longer periods with big applications (such as photoshop), for smaller apps it's not noteable.
however, it seems to me that minimizing shouldn't hold the system for so long. am i wrong?
