I'm trying to load a boot disk but my computer isn't seeming to read it and goes into NT instead of to the boot disk. My system configurations must be wrong but I can't seem to see where I would make it read the floppy drive on start up.

You would need to configure the bios settings. Reboot your machine and press del when prompted (or whatever key combination you need to access the bios). There will be a heading called something like "bios settings" or "advanced settings" (they differ depending on bios type) under this heading there will be an option called "System boot up sequence", set this to a: first. That should solve your problem (assuming your floppy drive is working OK)
Good luck,
Rich.
