hello! Anybody please help me. iam using sygate 3.x in my lan with cable modem . sygate blocked some ports (LIKE FTP 21,...ETC ). I WANT TO OPen some ports for my use . HOw to ...please send me step by step details . thank you. ****** ( i want to open port 21330,21331,21332 for tzo software (www.tzo.com)

What OS are you using? I used Sygate until I switched to XP for this very reason. XP has its own firewall and I finally found out how to configure XP to open ports 21330 etc. within XP. TZO now works perfectly!

Opening the ports requested is really simple if you know where to remove the firewall settings by windows xp ->you’ll find it within the Control Panel -> Network Settings -> LAN Extended -> remove the flag for firewall protection and apply the change and your TZO will work!
