Comment: Anyone have a clue on this blue screen hang? NT 4.0 boot process is complaining about missing winsrv.dll in the Default Load Path. Partition is fat 16 so I can Boot to Dos and re-copy winsrv.dll into winnt/system32 (and into winnt, AND into c:) but it doesn't help.

Reply: (edit)assuming you haven't yet, go to microsoft's knowledgebase online (support.microsoft.com) and search for that stop error code. this usually works for me.

Reply: (edit)go to microsoft.com and do a search on the stop error number on all of microsoft. This site generally provides the needed answer. They ought to know as were all adding to the solution database.
