On your client machine what are you connecting with to your sql server? Are you talking about the desktop ver on your client or a third party program that you want to extract data from sql server? WHat is you exact setup?

How do I extract the data from the SQL server from the client, which is a Windows 98 machine, connecting to the network using the MS client. Do I need to ionstall the desktop versuion on the client and connect to the server that way?
