32mb memory is the bare minimum of memory I'd use. With any Back Office component, you ought to at least double up to at least 64mb.

Ideally, you should run Performance Monitor and log the normal things: memory, processor, network card, hard disk. Over a relatively small amount of time, it will be come very obvious what needs to be upgraded/changed.

You may also consider optimizing the Server service based on what function your server carries out. I recommend you see Technet article Q154075 "Trimming LAN Manager Server Service to Tune Applications"
