Two part question: 1) If I'm creating a new BDC to a (very old PDC) with SP4, Can I load sp6a on the new one and synchronize them - or would the difference in SP versions cause trouble? (I'm planning on promoting the new one to PDC after the Synchronization). 2) How do I decide which to use - the high encryption version of the service pack, or the low? Thanks for any advice!
