soundcard not working

how do i make the soundcard work on NT. i have used other systems but not so much NT. he has one but it doesnt work at all. conflict possibly. im not sure where to go to fix it.

Are the correct drivers installed? Go to the cards web site to download the correct NT drivers.

Did this sound card use to work on nt? If not you might want to check microsoft HCL to see if the card is compatible.

I believe the website is www.microsoft.com/hcl

If it's an older card you have to install pnpisa.inf first before nt can se your card ..it's in thr drvlib\pnpisa folder on the CD
