I accidentally erased the sound driver on my computer and I was wondering how I can get it back. I have a toshiba pentium celeron processor and am running windows 98 Help!

Post your message in the Windows 98 Forum. The answers for device driver issues for Win98 are not always the same as for Win NT.

When you do so, specify the manufacturer of the sound card, if you know it. Most likely it will not be a big deal reinstalling the driver, enabling it, and reconfiguring the settings to your liking. Almost all sound board manufacturers post a site on the WWW where you can download an updated driver. You might even come out with some spiffy new bells and whistles after you get it running again.
