I would wish to setup a VPN Server using NT4 SP5 ... can anyone tell me how to do this. I want to be able to access files on the server from a laptop through a dial up connection.

Thanxs to anyone who can help.

you are going to have to install and setup RRAS on the server,...you will set up RRAS to use pptp, set it up to use the modem for incoming connections, setup a username for the user dialling in

on the client , add the pptp adapter in network properties, use it to dial-up
