Does anyone know how to avoid using the GUI on the Control Panel to go from fixed IP to DHCP Client?

I think you can do this as follow : 1) Make sure "DHCP client is running with "net start" command. If not, activate that service with the command : net start "DHCP Client". 2) right click on "network neighborhood" then select "properties". Choose "protocols" tab, select "TCP/IP protocol" and "properties" again. Check "Obtain an address IP from a DHCP server". You'll have to reboot the machine. Hope this will help you
