Serial port/COM1 recognition

I'm having trouble with NT workstation and a software pkg which detects it compatible hardware on the COM1 serial port. I know it has worked before. I recently disconnected the device to repair it and it hasn't worked since.

You must be using an account with admin privelages.

Better yet, login as admin and then try it.
