I have a zip drive, parallel scanner, and a printer hooked to my machine and I am having problems. I am sure all of these problems will be solved if I install a second port. Can anyone tell me how to install this port and configure my Iomega zip to use it? Thank you.
Go to Compusa or Fry's electronics and pick up a SIIG Cyber Parallel card. No jumpers. Just a card and a installation disk. It should take a five minutes to install ($40-50). There are ISA and PCI versions out there. Make sure you have the correct PC slot. If you have a fairly new computer, you should be able to use the PCI version.
