i bought a 256MB PC100 SDRAM DIMM 3.3V 32x64
i have a lucky star K7A750 mainboard. i'm running windows 2000. when i boot up with just my original ram of only 64MB, it boots up fine, but when i tried booting with both my old and new ram, i get a quick blue screen with text after the window startup screen and it restarts again and again. when i boot with only the new ram, sometimes i get to the windows login, but it reboots automatically again. CAN ANYONE HELP?? thanks

It sounds like you have the wrong type of RAM.

Is your old RAM a single or double sided chips? What is the new RAM (single or double sided)?

You can not mix types.

I have about 3 GB of various types available if you are interested in buying more RAM cheap.

Check your systemboard manual and see if your board support PC100 memory.
