Comment:

When I try to install WIN NT 4.0 on a P-III Workstation which has two SCSI Controllers, one for the internal SCSI Hard Disk and other for External Hard Disk, which is used for some special purpose. I am getting the warning message "There is no Hard Drive found". What could be the problem?

Thanks.

you need to manually install a SCSI driver for at least one of the HD's; the internal one... You provide the driver on a floppy...

due to the security feature of nt which prevents direct hardware calls , such devices need to be available at the most basic level, ie before any drivers
