Hi, I have a system (server) with two SCSI drives. At boot up the drives are: SCSI ID:0 Compaq ST15150W Fast Ultra SE - Hard Disk 0 (second message is same but Hard Disk 2). I would like to install WinNT Server on system but NT doesn't see any drives? - The drives were formatted when the system was given to me. Thanks
When you install NT4, it asks you during the setup if you want to load any third party SCSI drivers. You will probably need to load these at that point since NT isn't recognizing the card.
I'm assuming it isn't recognizing the card since you said the drives have been formatted.

Don't wait for setup to ask for third party mass storage drivers. As soon as the black screen says at the top that "setup is checking/inspecting your hardware", click F6 many times until you get "beep". This will now start the blue screen setup, but will interrupt the setup earlier than the post above. This is when to install from a floppy your scsi drivers and continue setup.
