Schedule service is gone

Had problems running the AT.exe program on NT4, SP3. When I checked for the Schedule service it did not exist. It is a default service with NT. The only thing I found was Task Scheduler which I believe comes from IE5. Task Scheduler must be providing the service for AT but the Startup/Log On As fields are greyed out. How can I get the normal, default Schedule service reinstalled? Apparently SP6 is not an option since the developers say their Jaguar (Sybase) program only works on SP3. Thanks.
I'm not sure I can solve your problem, but Task scheduler is the default on the NT 4.0 system that I have and I don't have IE5, so it couldn't have come from there... good luck.
When you install IE 4 or 5 with Offline Browsing packet there comes Task Scheduler service which replaces the original Schedule service. Another thing is with Finnish language version of NT4, the Scheduled Tasks does not work at all!

Never mind. I found a registry hack in TechNet (Q196731) that replaces MSTask.exe with the old, default ATsvc.exe Everything is working smoothly once again, although I was sweating making a registry change on a Friday afternoon before a big holiday weekend. Thanks for the help.
