Can anyone tell me how I can schedule a job to take place every 30 minutes under Windows NT4.0.

You can schedule a .bat at any time via AT command. The Planning service must be activate. Code this .bat like this :
:label1
my command
sleep 1800
goto label1
The sleep command will wait 1800 seconds before return to execute "my command" again.
