Does windows NT have a Safe Mode????? if so how do i access it?? as i have loaded something onto a laptop and can not access the desk top no more. how do i do it please?

No, unfortunately, NT does not have a safe mode.
you should try to invoke the last settings when rebooting.

When you reboot win NT, when loading it gives you a message saying something like press F1 now to invoke last settings... I don't recall exactly. But what this does is restoring your previous setting... This might work.

Graeme, When you first boot an NT machine, you see a black screen asking you to select from one of two options: Windows NT Workstation, and Windows NT Workstation (VGA mode). First try arrowing down to the VGA mode and see if you can boot that way. If you could, remove that bad device/driver and reboot in normally again. If you still can't boot using VGA mode, use the NT cd to boot, then select the Repair option.

you can also try by pressing Last/good know hadrware profile menu.
Summary: Not sure what your asking. there is no safe mode in NT 4. The closest you can get is VGA mode. You select this option while the computer is loading the OS> ...
