We have internet access using sonicwall. Is there any way to find the IP address of a user and block that IP for using http access. I still need then to have access to their mail client. There is no proxy server. Thanks,

If the end-users PCs have fixed IP addresses it would be easier. This obviously depends on Sonicwall of which I've had no contact. I would check through its documentation/help files to see if you can block IP addresses. If the LAN is using DHCP on the other hand, you may have problems as users are not guaranteed to have the same IP address all of the time.
