Dear Adminers,

Pls. Help.
I have one NT 4.0 server (as PDC, IP : 10.10.2.2 Comp. Name : PKB). Lately, I make new BDC with NT 4.0 (Comp. Name CASA, IP : 10.10.2.3).

Yesterday, I change the IP number for BDC with 10.10.6.2 with still the same comp. name (CASA). I have trouble when syncronizing to PDC, there will be error message "Network Path was not found". FYI, the connection between two comp. is OK i tested with ping.

Pls. Advice ME

You cannot run NT BDC & PDC across different Subnets. Change the BDC back to an IP in the 10.10.2. Range.

Can you ping by netbios name?
Does it return the proper ip address?
The old mapping may still be in WINS.
Or possibly an LMHOSTS file?
What's the subnet mask?
