Reply-to not working in email

I have a page that creates an email using Software Artisans SMTP software to create and send email. One of the fields that is used is the "Reply-To" field. For a majority of the emails that go out, the reply-to is set correctly and works fine. But there are a small number of people that receive that email without the reply-to and therefore respond to the "From" field which I do not want to happen.
Has anybody else had this problem or know of a solution?
