Repair CD ROM Drive

Comment:
My CD ROM drive could not read some CDs. But now it cannot read any CD.
I try to clean the lens with a laser lens cleaning CD, but there was no result.
Does anybody know how to replace the laser lens or where I could find some information for that kind of repair?

why? unless its a burner or a dvd rom it'll probally be less money and definatly less agrivation to go buy a new one, you can get them for less than 30 bucks now, and they are quite often on sale for 10 - 20 bucks at computer stores
