Get a bare-bones Windows 98 boot diskette with a copy of himem.sys on it and a config.sys file with the contents:-
device=himem.sys

Find a copy of delpart.exe on the Internet and stick it on the floppy. Boot the system from the floppy and run delpart.exe. It'll delete any partition, no questions asked.
