i need to remove the obove os from a pc since i dont know the password it request , i want to install windows xp professional, how do i go about doing that .

Should be just a matter of dropping in the XP CD and deleting the partition whenever it prompts you. Remember, if you go that route, you'll also lose all the data already on the drive...
