I accidentally installed the French version of an HP950C printer on our NT 4.o server. I caught the error and removed the printer and re-installed it with the correct driver, but the MS Word software still shows properties in French and on the printer properties, one of the tabs (device options) display in French. Obviously, the new install is not replacing everything. Any ideas?

Hi,

I cannot determine if you have the problem on a workstation or that you run Word from the server.
A workstation receives its drivers from the server after you first make a connection. Once the drivers are there, you have to remove the printer completely and add it again to receive the new drivers.
If the problem is on the Server, remove the printer and edit the registry. Search for HP950 and remove all entries found. Reboot the server and reinstall the printer.

Good Luck!
