I have Win NT 4.0 SP6a and a Realtek 8029 pci
ethernet adapter.
Yesterday the mac address of this adapter became 00:00:00:00:00:00
How is possible ?

If you try re-booting and it did not fix the problem, then somehow the bios of the card is gone!!!! or corrupted. Buy another card 22$ realtek or a good bran name like 3Com 50$.

No, seriously, it's the first time I ever heard of such a problem. It may be good to contact the maker.

I agree with Patrick. Sounds like it got "toasted". If this resource is being used for work I would make the investment for a good card .... 3com, SMC, INTEL .... you do get what you pay for.
