Hi,
Have a Remote win95 user dialling into our RAS. They always connect successfully, but can only maintain a connection for about 15-30 minutes before dropping out. Until recently they could connect for as long as they liked. They are connecting with clear text authentication and obtain their IP address via DHCP. I know anyone would probably need to be in front of the machine to work out the problem, but I'm getting desperate here. Anyone, have any ideas? I was thinking maybe DHCP timing out or something, but I checked the lease settings and it's set to 3 days. PLEASE HELP ME!!!
Active leases show about 13 instances of the remote user. Is that just not resfreshing or is there a problem there.
Thanks in advance

Check your linespeed. Some modems cant handle the speed of the transmissionline.
Like for instance, I used a 56K6 modem to dial in, the linespeed was set to 115200 bps, the modem reset it self after some minutes, then I set the linespeed to 56700.
Perhaps the linespeed of your users is much to high for the flowcontrol on your modem, try to set it lower and see what happens. It isnt a DHCP-problem... its the linespeed.
